Without a doubt, Chip Kidd has had a substantial impact on the first impressions of readers everywhere. As associate art director for the New York publishing house Knopf, Kidd gives everyone a reason to judge a book by its cover. Also an author for the publishing house, Kidd offers this excellent Ted Talk on his role as an “interpreter and translator” for the world of book lovers. Enjoy!
